Danger Alert

reblog reblog

1. What is your project? [1 sentence]

Danger alert app that will tell a person on their cell phone when they are entering a dangerous zone.

2. How will your project use mobile tools and approaches? [2 sentences]

It’s on the sense of a tracking device but it will alert an individual when they are entering a danger zone. It’s approaching the “when, where, how” idea, like social media, that they’ll know everything that happens around them with a single alert.

3. Who will use it and why? [1 sentence]

Any individual can use it because it’s for any person that wants to know when and where they’ll be in danger

4. Please list three ways they would learn about your project.

People would learn about my project by downloading the app themselves and testing it out. Also sending out advertisements about the app. Lastly, I would do a presentation and then stream it on the internet.

5. What connections have you made, or will you make, with others [communities, organizations or networks] about your project? [2 sentences]

I will make communities safer because they will have information about where they should and shouldn’t go. Also it could decrease the crime rate

6. What part of the project have you already built? [1-2 sentences, feel free to include links]

I haven’t built any part of this project yet actually. It was a simple idea I came up with.

7. What does success for your project look like? [1-2 sentences]

The app is basically information and a tracking device. Two simple things that can be put into one, so it’s very likely.

8. What resources do you need to succeed? [1-2 sentences]

I need a tracking device on the cellphone and history of crime in all neighborhoods.
